Abstract
The analysis of literature sources on the study of the dynamic approach to the theory of
calculation of lifting ropes is carried out. First, a rope with distributed mass was considered when
the upper end was suddenly stopped as a flexible elastic thread with a load at the end; Later lifting
equipment led to multi-mass mechanical systems with weightless elastic links
The designs of mine hoisting installations, their design dynamic schemes with and without
considering the elasticity of the lifting rope, and a mathematical description of the dynamic
processes of oscillatory character in ropes of hoists during power transient processes are given.
A mathematical description of dynamical processes of oscillatory character in the ropes of
one-end and two-terminal elevating systems for power transients in the form of an analytical
differential equation is obtained.
