Abstract

The article shows that assembly-disassembly using press equipment is energy-intensive, can cause damage to the connection details. Technologies using heating have advantages over other technologies and can significantly improve the strength of the connection without increasing the requirements for precision machining. It is shown that energy saving depends on the type of energy used and its application to the heated part. In the article it is determined that at present one of the energy-saving is induction heating. The use of the induction-thermal method of heating allows to exclude expensive equipment, to ensure high strength of the product, and the creation of a rational shape of the parts will allow reducing the energy intensity, ensuring the ecological purity of the technological process.
