Abstract

It has been suggested that the parameters are reduced in the pulse-arc welding mode by a non-fusible electrode in argon to isolate the excess voltage in the joint zone in the 2 mm alloy, because there are some variations in the welding mode. It is shown that the increase of the harshness of the welding mode due to the decrease in the time of the impulse current results in decreasing the maximum voltage and the width of its action area. It has been substantiated that due to the increase of the cycle length the level of residual voltage goes up.
For the sake of investigating the influence of the welding cycle length on the value of the maximum voltage, which extends, and the width of its impact in the joint zone, the experiment at Т_ц=0,80 s, Т_ц=0,64 s і Т_ц=0,48 s was conducted. Trivial impulse and pause, at each welding cycle, fluctuated between 0.16 and 0.32 s. The results of the performance, at trivial impulse t_i=0,24 s., make it visible that, due to the increase in the welding cycle duration, the value of the maximum voltage, which extends, and the width of its impact in the joint zone increases too. In all the three cases, due to trivial discharges and impulses, the level of residual voltage and the width of it in the joint zone increases as well. The picture is similar to the increase of residual welding voltage in the joint zone, which is also possible due to the pause duration. As the pause time increases, the value of maximum voltage and the width of its area of action increase.
