Abstract

Method of module repair is economically feasible if the repair is caused by the failure of the
labor-intensive and material-intensive parts of the manufacturing cost which is quite high. The
purpose of this article is the development of one of the design principles, large-sized machine parts
to improve the quality of a designed product, namely, increasing the suitability of repair and
identify technological solutions to implement this principle. One of the ways to reduce the cost of
repairs – pre-engineering part with the possibility of replacing only the part that is subject to wear
and tear.
Considered the problem of creating suitable for the structural repair of machinery and repair
work. Further development of design principles of large parts of machines and equipment to
improve the quality of a designed product. The most technologically advanced and economical
solutions for the implementation of the principle of maintainability.
Offered more technologically advanced and economical design shaft gear excavator EKG-8
on the basis of the shaft compound with a gear by the method of thermal effects – heating of the
gears in the inductor currents of industrial frequency.
