Abstract

The article considers strained condition of rope, weave on drum with calculation coefficient of
friction. In the time of calculation the rope drum receive what it load in principal only compression
load, which create the rope. Strength of friction as rule not calculation what is very rude assumption.
We condict analysis of influence friction on strained condition drum receive in the time of
known dependence Eyler, which was recept for ring and supple thread. Conduct experiment
confirm necessity calculation strength of friction in more accurate definition calculation.
Calculation strained condition of ring load rope show what in this chance the ring work only
on compression.
